MEET LAWRENCE
My background and experience is both unique and fascinating. I graduated UCLA with degree in Economics. Straight out of college, I took a position in the accounting department at a film production company. Not wanting to follow in my father’s footsteps, he was a CPA, I instead followed my love of music. I promoted a wide array of artists including Beck, Weezer, Green Day, Hole, Elliott Smith, Garbage, the list goes on. I later started my own record label, Sugar Fix Recordings and a music festival called Poptopia.
While working in music, I volunteered at wild animal sanctuary. That led to an animal keeper position at the Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens. After 10 years of working with every animal imaginable and some not, I took a position at the American Humane Association. I combined my love of entertainment and caring for animals and married them by becoming a certified animal safety representative. I worked with everything from maggots to elephants. “No Animal Was Harmed In The Making Of This…”
When the animal action slowed down, I returned to accounting. I became a payroll accountant, mainly in television. During my four years of accounting, I started studying for my real estate examination and touring open houses. i decided then and there that my last job with Amazon would be last and I would follow my passion of real estate. I recently joined Keller Williams Los Feliz and couldn’t be prouder.
I am confident that I can help you find what you are looking for, whether it is a creative space for a home studio for my music and entertainment friends or a larger space for my animal friends. That is a quick look at me, now I’m looking forward to hearing about you.
